Pastor Derek Brandt

Thursdays, starting Sept. 5 at Cactus; Sept. 12  at Shea | 6:30pm

Do you know someone who has questions about Jesus, God, faith or the Bible? Alpha is a safe place for anyone who is seeking or has questions to process them in a friendly, informal environment. Invite your friends to join us for a meal and conversation about the big questions of life and faith.

Wednesdays, starting Sept. 11 | 6:30pm | All campuses

Connect more deeply with God and your purpose by experiencing Rooted this fall! Rooted isn’t a class or Bible study, it’s an opportunity to discover and practice seven key rhythms that will transform your walk with Jesus as you integrate them into your life. Come grow as a disciple in community with others!

Saturday, August 3 | 2:45pm | Harkins Shea 14

Join us for a free viewing of Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot, a movie that shares the incredible true story of a church in Texas where 22 families adopted 77 children from the local foster system. This remarkable act of love and community sparked a movement that aligns with our For the Valley initiative to care for Arizona foster children and families. You must reserve a ticket to attend!

Monday, August 5 | 6:30pm | Shea A9

Join us for an exciting evening of updates and news about what God is doing through SBC’s Global Workers. We’ll also pray for God’s protection, direction, and favor upon them as they experience the joys and challenges of sharing the gospel around the world.

Sunday, July 28 | 5pm | All Campuses

This Sunday night, all YTH (grades 6-12) are invited to celebrate what God did at HSM Summer Camp last weekend. The evening will feature baptisms, student testimonies, and camp worship. Tacos will be served afterwards!
Are you facing challenging circumstances? You're not alone! SBC offers 15 support groups that provide encouragement and practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges. Options include a group for Foster, Kinship & Adoptive Parents, DivorceCare, GriefShare, Healing After Abortion, Families Dealing with Dementia, recovery groups, and others. Several are launching new sessions soon!

Sunday, August 11 | All campuses

Plan now to join us for our semi-annual fair where you can find your place to connect in community and use your gifts and talents to serve God and love others! We'll have ministry tables, treats, and giveaways at the fair after every service.
