Series: The Wisdom We Need | Week 5

Wisdom and Growing Old
Pastor Jamie Rasmussen

For more than 65 years, we’ve been called to serve, reach, and carry the love of Christ to our Valley. For the Valley is the vision God gave us to make an even greater impact in foster care, support under-resourced churches, and reach new neighborhoods with the gospel. To learn more about what we're doing in foster care and how you can be involved, join us at Shea this Thursday evening for Finding Your Place in Foster Care & Adoption

June 17 – August 9 | All campuses

The Immerse Summer Reading Challenge is back, and it’s a great way to engage with God’s Word over the summer. This year, our summer message series will correspond with your reading of 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther—books that tell the dramatic stories of God’s people living out their faith in challenging circumstances. Sign up now to learn about discussion groups, receive exclusive resources, and be entered in weekly prize drawings.
Entryway provides career training and discounted housing for individuals and families who are situationally homeless so they can find stability and economic independence. SBC gave $10,000 from our Elders’ Fund recently to help support this program, provide welcome gifts for residents, and empower SBC volunteers to serve as job coaches and mentors. Your giving is making a difference and bringing hope to families in our community!
