Fatherhood and the Goodness of God

Luke 10:38-11:4
Pastor Rustin Rossello

ALL CAMPUSES

This Sunday, we’re celebrating our dads and all they mean to us! If you’re a dad, thanks for being a hero, a role model, and an example of our Heavenly Father’s love to your family and the next generation. Take a photo at one of our Father's Day photo walls while enjoying a cool beverage after the service this Sunday!
While our Tuesday night Forge groups are taking a short summer break, we have many great ways for men to connect in community and grow closer to God.  SBC men get together for golf, hiking, road biking, motorcycle rides, Bible studies, fun events, and service projects. Come join us!

Sunday, June 25 | All campuses

We’re two weeks into our Immerse: Prophets summer reading challenge! We pray God is giving you new insights as we encounter these powerful Old Testament books together. Be sure to join us next Sunday as we celebrate our progress with a cool gelato treat after each service. Everyone is invited!
Lindsay Soderlund has served on the AV team at SBC Cactus for two years. “Serving means having a willing heart and openness to learn. It's not about getting recognition (especially in the tech booth where there's not much visibility into what we do), but about being available to give back from what I've been given. I do what I love and where God has given me a talent, I get to hang out with other amazing volunteers, and I’m growing and learning new things!” SBC has many opportunities to serve—why not explore and discover a way to apply your talents and interests?

Sunday, June 25 | Cactus, North Ridge & Shea

If you love SBC and would like to learn about becoming a member, plan to join us next Sunday for a short class. You'll discover how membership is a meaningful way to actively participate in the mission and vision of your church and experience a deeper sense of community.

Monday, June 19 | 5pm | Bowlero

This summer, our YTH gatherings (grades 5-12) will feature unique and fun activities each week to build community. This week, in place of meeting on Father's Day, they're headed to Bowlero on Monday! The remaining events (game show night, country night, etc.) are on Sundays following the teaching, worship, and small groups.

Tuesdays & Wednesdays, June & July | Fountain Hills, North Ridge, Shea & Online

To enhance and encourage your study of  Immerse: Prophets this summer, join us each week for worship and teaching from various SBC pastors about the passage we’re currently reading. If you can’t attend in person, join  the Shea Tuesday night class via livestream.

June 1 – July 31 | All campuses
